Bordeaux-Mérignac, 5th January 2018 -   WorldCast Systems is set to show their “exciting new sound processor” integrated in Ecreso FM Transmitters at the European Radio Show in Paris later this month.

Recently reviewed by audio expert, Sylvain Cavet, Broadcast Audio Processing Consultant with Broadcast & Associés, who highlighted both the sound quality and the ease of use, the multiband sound processor offers 5-band processing and limiters as well as a full suite of presets for different formats and requirements.

Cavet noted, “I was particularly struck by the quality offered by the sound processor; the fidelity of the timbre, the spectral balance, maintenance of stereo image, the outstanding treble, the perfect drum transients for Jazz music and the transparency of the filtering for FM broadcasting all made a very positive impression.”

The 5 Band sound processor is hosted within the digital modulator of the Ecreso FM range from 100W up to 10kW and is available as a software upgrade to many of the units in the field.

WorldCast Systems will demonstrate the multiband sound processor on Stand C22 at the upcoming European Radio Show due to take place in Paris from the 25^th-27^th January 2018.

Also on display at the WorldCast Systems’ booth will be the new network management system for broadcast, WorldCast Manager; the company’s new solar-powered FM transmitter and a new solution for delivering solid IP audio remotes.
