WorldCast MANAGER Launched With Free Subscription at NAB 2016

New SNMP Monitoring Application from WorldCast Systems

WorldCast Systems is launching a brand new SNMP Monitoring Tool, the WorldCast MANAGER at NAB 2016.

WorldCast MANAGER has been designed to work not only with WorldCast Systems’ own products but with any SNMP-enabled device, meaning it can be deployed to monitor an entire broadcast site or even multiple sites.

The intuitive PC-based application provides real-time status and alarms of all connected units in a unified display and, should further investigation be required, it provides the user with easy access to the unit’s own web-based control interface.

With a map-based display and a clean, simple design, the WorldCast MANAGER offers an instant overview of your network status, replacing the need to consult multiple interfaces and applications.

Chris Poulain, VP Sales & Marketing, explained that the key advantage of the WorldCast MANAGER is “the simplicity of configuration and operation. You don’t need to be an SNMP expert to set it up. We are building an extensive library of broadcast devices that are easily supported within the application and if you find that yours is not, our support team will integrate the MIB files free of charge. It really is that simple!

WorldCast MANAGER will be made available on a tiered subscription basis with a free version permanently available to those broadcasters wishing to manage a small number of predominantly WorldCast equipment.  However, as a special offer to celebrate its launch, the full Platinum version of the WorldCast MANAGER, enabling unrestricted management of up to 300 devices, is to be made available free of charge until the end of September 2016.

Those wishing to take advantage of this offer can collect their free webkey from the WorldCast Systems’ booth at NAB N6134.
